Job Responsibilities

• Setup and maintenance of LAN with domain model (Installation, Configuration and administration of Windows 2000 &2003 server as ,Forest, Tree, and Member server, Windows 95/98 as clients using protocols TCP/IP and NetBEUI)
• Installation, configuration and administration of DNS, and configuring the client to connect the domain
• Maintaining Symantec & E-trust Antivirus engines. Creating Mail quotas to the users
• Installation of LAN card, USB drivers, web cam, printer and scanner. Network Devices and Computer Peripherals
• Installation and up gradation and configuration the system / Laptop with appropriate device drivers and operating system
• Regular maintenance and trouble shooting of all components of the computers and special devices
• Installing different anti-virus software's frequently updating and running on the systems to make virus free
• Administering local and remote printers and attending common printer problems in the network
• Planning and implementing fault tolerance and strategies for backup and restoring files on the network using different media devices like tape drives, compact disk and additional hard disk etc.,
• Performing system and software updates by installing appropriate service packs for operating systems and antivirus from time to time.
• System performance, monitoring and troubleshooting user related problems
• Window NT and 2000 based LAN & wan management
• Backups using different strategies (Normal, Differential and Incremental)
• Maintaining daily backup and restoring data
• Troubleshooting end user problem

Eligibility

• Male candidates with B.Tech(CSE/ECE) / BSC Computers/ Networking Course
• Ready to sign 2.5 years service agreement with the company
• Experience preferred
