Storage Architect Job in Ehook Systems, Llc

• Minimum Five (5) years of experience managing or implementing enterprise EMC and IBM SAN & NAS environments.
• Storage Migration experience using EMC Recoverpoint and XIV Replication
• One or more of the following: EMC ExtremIO, EMC Centera or EMC Isilon
• Multivendor experience (e.g. EMC, Hitachi, Netapp, Dell, HP, etc.)
• Minimum five years IT infrastructure engineering experience
• Design, deploy, and manage block (FC, FCOE, iSCSI) and file (NFS, CIFS) storage for a virtual server environment with 250+ VMs
• Proficient at managing through either a GUI or command line
• Comfortable with scripting
• SAN refresh and migration experience
• Handson storage installation and cabling experience
• Experience with storage capacity and performance analysis and implementation
• Working knowledge of networking (troubleshooting connectivity at array, host, & hypervisor level)
• Configuration of zoning using Cisco fabric switches
• Seamlessly extend storage LUNs and volumes without system downtime
• Able to support high availability and business critical infrastructure
• Ability to communicate and present ideas to technical staff and management concisely desired
• Experience with storage virtualization technologies (VPLEX, SVC, HDS, VSAN)
• EMC VMAX, VNX expertise
• Past telecommuting background
• Strong passion for getting things done
• Storage certifications
• Cisco UCS and/or converged compute/storage/network solutions
• Heterogeneous/Cross Vendor storage migrations
• Enterprise backup & archiving experience with one or more of the following : Data Domain, Avamar, Networker, Commvault, Symantec, Tivoli
• VMware 5.x design, management, & implementation
• Consulting experience
