Job Summary

Position:

Manager Business Finance will be reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Director/Director, Business Finance will be responsible for the overall management of the Company s business finance organization.

Education:

CA with ICWA (Intermediate)./M.Com with or CA (Intermediate) or MBA (finance) or CA.

Experience:

10+years of experience in Business Finance

  • This executive will need to actively lead the business finance function in an effective, aggressive manner. At the same time, this executive is also expected to be a contributor to the management of the company as a whole. These needs, essential at this stage of the company s development, establish the necessary professional background and experience parameters for the successful candidate
  • 10/12 years plus of business finance experience
  • Experience of working in products or services in a start-up or early stage environment
  • A solid understanding of Company s market: products, players, technologies
  • An MBA Finance or CA preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Planning, Budgeting and Financial Reporting:
    • Act as a partner to different stakeholders and bring financial management perspective in decision making
    • To ensure quality budget formulation and effective execution
    • Robust business planning & high quality operational planning process
    • Regular Monitoring performance against Budget and highlighting concerns, if any, for corrective action
    • Work with business to refine accurate quarterly plan & provide early warnings on Revenue, costs & profits
  • Revenue management
  • Treasury & Funding (Debt, Equity & Quasi):
    • Forecasting monthly cash-flow and optimizing the cash position across geography.
    • Ensure daily monitoring of cash position
    • Raising necessary line of credit in line with industry norms to fund contingencies.
    • Reduce cost & or quantum of debt funding.
    • Optimize the Net working capital requirements
  • Banking relations:
    • Exploring compliance with the loan documentation
    • Providing all compliance inputs to the Bank at the monthly rest
    • Creating rightful charge as per the terms sheet
    • Negotiating optimum structures
  • Investor relations
    • Key role in the preparation of Strategy Plan.
    • Maintaining relationship with the investor community and feeding them with necessary information in time
    • Preparing the Group for an IPO in 3 years
    • Maintain and publishing information in line with a listed Group (Quarterly reporting, segment wise profitability, etc.)
  • Business Structuring: Maintaining an optimum capital structure for the business to ensure flexibility of additional funds as and when required keeping into consideration the overall strategic objectives of the Group
  • M&A: Explore strategic objective of growth through acquisition. Exploring right target for acquisition and also structuring the deal in a manner to ensure minimal pay-out and exploring leverage opportunity for acquisition funding
  • Oversight:
    • To ensure effective and efficient financial oversight
    • Strict control over expenditure and project profitability monitoring and reporting
    • Ensure vigilance over costs incurred in the new product development
  • Pricing: Publication of cost/rate card at regular intervals and also forecasting revenues from Published Pipeline report s per agreed rules
