Roles and Responsibilities

Executive VENDOR Management - Madurai (Okay for Travel)

Full Time, Permanent

Core responsibilities
o Lane wise capacity creation, vendor base creation, capacity alignment with demand,
rate negotiations & lane wise transportation margins
Key deliverables
o Lane wise capacity creation as per plan, daily vehicle availability publishing, fulfilment
& predictability improvement, direct fleet operators onboarding, transportation
margins & P&L
Role description
o For the required set of origin destination, create a pool of vendors for different sets of
vehicle types.
o Onboard multiple vendors in Velocity system for the given lanes, origin destination
combination.
o Rate negotiation with different vendors for the given lanes. origin destination
combination for different set of vehicle types.
o Publish lane wise daily vehicle availability & lane wise rates as per agreed SLAs.
o Analyse lane wise rates over a period & seek to continuously improve the rates and bring
it closer & lower than that of the market rates.
o Drive velocity app adoption across vendor network, ensure that contracts & invoices are
accepted by vendors as per desired SLAs.
o Brief all vendors on TDS rule, collect TDS declaration certificate from eligible vendors &
ensure that all vendors are TDS compliant.
o Ensure periodic reconciliation activity with vendors, address all payment related issues &
exchange NDCs with them.
o Proactively engage with the vendors, drive the vendor relationship piece & ensure best in
class vendor retentions.
o Track unique vehicle engagement & turnover to drive better rates & margins across
different lanes.
o Identify return load lanes & engage vendors to actively pickup return loads to drive better
rates & margins.

Experience:4 to 9 years

Annual CTC:Rupees 2,50,000 to 4,00,000
