Roles and Responsibilities

An individual who is responsible for planning and overseeing projects within an organisation. Idea creation to idea implementation, coordinate with all the stakeholders and senior management to implement the project. The candidate will have to apply processes and techniques to initiate the project, plan, implement, deliver and evaluate within the time frame and given budget. The candidate will have to monitor the projects by regularly taking updates and reports of the project and updating the stockholder and senior management on the same, constantly working on its betterment. A key value is to perform a risk assessment of the project which will help the PM to identify and resolve the potential risk that can delay the project.

Roles and responsibilities.

• Understanding the project scope, objectives, importance and its role in the organization.

• Coordination/liasioning with the senior management and stakeholders.

• Allocating the resources required to complete the project.

• Good communication skills, must be able to communicate the necessary information to the relevant stakeholders and must be able to resolve conflicts if arises.

• Preparing the detailed plan of the project from idea creation to implementation.

• Tracking/monitoring the progress of the project by providing regular reports and updates to the stakeholders.

• Analytical skills and budgeting skills.

• Able to perform risk management that is to identify potential risks and manage those risks without delaying the project.

• Ensuring the satisfaction of the project by being in constant communication with the relevant stakeholders and senior management.

• A good leader and team player who will motivate the project team and manage internal conflicts if arises.
