Roles and responsibilities

Key Skills:

• Experience in Java / Java EE based enterprise applications
• Spring MVC, Boot, Security, JDBC
• SQL, MySQL
• Should have very good verbal and written communication skills, as you d be communicating directly with the client
• Should be able to follow clean code practices and able to create good documentation

Desired Skills:

• Hand on working experience on responsive web design using HTML5, CSS/LESS/SASS, Bootstrap, JQuery, ReactJS
• Python basics
• AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, SNS, SES, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, EC2, Cloud Formation, CLI)
• Jenkins and setting up build/test/deployment pipelines
• Experience with ubuntu linux, docker and writing bash scripts
• Best coding practices using tools like sonar and code coverage using EclEmma, Corbertura
• Unit testing using JUnit, Mockito
• Automation testing using Selenium
• Load testing using JMeter
• Integration testing

Desired Experience in various IDE and Build Tools:

• Maven, Jenkins
• Eclipse, VS Code
• Git, Mercurial
• Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub

Desired Team/Project management skills:

• Experience in scrum based agile practices (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospective, timesheet management, sprint demo etc.)
• Experience in handling/mentoring a small team
• Experience in client communication and 24x7 on call support
