Job Summary:
We are seeking a software tester with strong knowledge of software testing, SQL, test cases, and test execution to join our engineering department. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing different environments, writing bug reports, quality assurance, and adapting to new technologies.

Testing Methodologies:
Exposure to different testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and apply them effectively.
SDLC Understanding:
Understand various Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, including Agile and Waterfall, and apply them to testing efforts.
Code Review:
Review and maintain code to ensure proper functionality and quality.
SQL Exposure:
Exposure to SQL databases, particularly MySQL and SQL Server, and the ability to write and execute SQL queries.
Technical Skills:
Programming Knowledge:
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) knowledge.
Experience working with the .NET Framework.
Testing Types:
Experience in functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
Test Case Management:
Develop, execute, and manage test cases effectively.
Test Automation:
Capable of identifying and automating test cases where applicable using open-source tools.
Manual and Automated Testing:
Execute both manual and automated tests as needed.
Defect Reporting:
Report defects early and track them to closure, ensuring proper issue tracking.
Test Results Reporting:
Publish and report test results to stakeholders.
SQL Knowledge:
Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
Experience in manual and automated testing environments.
Knowledge of SQL, including MySQL and SQL Server.
Familiarity with .NET Framework and Object-Oriented Programming.
Experience working in Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with development and supporting teams.
