Principal Engineer - Devops Job in Emeritus Institute Of Management

Responsibilities

• Supporting and Configuring cloud networking DNS, WAF, etc.
• Develop Fully Automated Pipelines for CICD
• Automate Infrastructure Provisioning, Deployment, and Delivery in the Cloud
• Support and Troubleshoot Cloud Deployment and Environment Issues
• Identify and Implement Infrastructure Resilience Improvements
• Lead in the adoption of Continuous Delivery and Automation of Platform Services
• Implement Monitoring Tools and Dashboards for Various Services and Operations for the Platform Following the Enterprise Monitoring Strategy and Tools
• Work in an Agile Development Environments.
• Assist with Identifying and Evaluating New Technologies and Methodologies to Solve Complex Problems
• Work as part of Cloud Platform Team for Platform Support and work closely with the development team in Day-to-Day Activities

Requirements

• A strong understanding of Cloud networking technologies including DNS configuration and configuring security-related assets is required.
• Total 10+ years of experience desirable
• Development Experience using Ruby on Rails is a Plus
• 3 plus years' experience in AWS cloud required
• Experience in Taking Application Code and Third-Party Products and Building Full End-to-End Pipelines to Build, Test and Deploy Complex Systems.
• Good Working Understanding of CI/CD and How Best to Implement CI/CD Practices
• Understand General Networking Concepts, Connectivity, Systems Architecture, Disaster Recovery Infrastructure as Code tools is a plus
• Cloudflare or other CDN provider experience is a plus.
• Experience in Heroku is a plus.
