ResponsibilitiesDesign, Implement and Support CI/CD pipelineParticipate in design phase of latency-driven high scale systemsWrite scripts to monitor systems and automate routine tasksMaintain our infrastructure across multiple technologies to ensure ZERO downtimeDesign and develop tooling to assist development teamsExperiment new tools and/or processes to improve the team routines and communicationTroubleshoot issues across the entire stack (diagnose software, application and network)Document current and future configuration processes and policiesTake ownership of existing systems including all tools, technologies and licenses used by EntropikWork with product management to ensure DevOps is aligned to the overall vision of the company and can scale on demandRequirementsTop-notch Linux system engineer- at least 5 years of Linux experience ( or 2years DevOps)Designing, Implementing and supporting CI/CD/CT pipelines at scaleExperience in setting up and automating build & release management across environmentsExpertise with multiple scripting languages (Bash/Python/Ruby/Groovy/etc.)Administration, scripting and automation with Amazon Web Services cloudStandard monitoring applications (Datadog, Graphite, Grafana, Prometheus, Sensu, etc.) and deployment/ system integration/configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform)Administration of SQL databases and in memory DB clusters such as Memcached, Redis, VoltDB, Aerospike, etc.Web and application server administration: Apache, NGNIXAdministration of high load systems 24/7Management of Cassandra clusters and /or other large-scale NoSQL solutionsKnowledge of object-oriented programming language and functional language Java/Scala or other programming language
