Job Summary

ResponsibilitiesDesign, Deploy and Secure CI/CD infrastructureDeploy and manage container orchestration, service mesh, serverless, API gateway & observability stack.Working with AWS/Azure to manage and secure deploymentsCreating dashboards and alerts to monitor anomalies and suspicious eventsCollaborate with developers and develop abstractions for a great developer experience.Debug problem areas and figure out the root cause of errorsRequirements4-6 years experience in delivering and operating large scale highly available distributed systemsCI/CD experience with Jenkins and cloud deployment technologies like Code Deploy (AWS), and/or GitLab.Hands-on in a scripting language such as python.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using Terraform, CloudFormation, or other tools.Good problem solving and hands-on with the programming language or scripting for infra automationHands-on experience with microservices and distributed applications, such as orchestration and containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology.Strong knowledge of operating systems, databases, networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP)Understanding of different kinds of infra components such as DB/pub-sub services/cache etcExperienced building multi-tenant, multi-regional infrastructure hosted in public (AWS/GCP/Azure)Experience with Observability (Monitoring, Logging, Alerting, Tracing) best practices and familiarity with one or more open-source projects (Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, Jaeger)Experience designing scalable systems at hyper-growth startups desirableInquisitiveness to understand the system as a whole, and not only be stuck to your domain of expertise preferred
