Job Summary
Job Description:
- Identify user s issues and quickly fix them
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Dealing with multiple desktop programs, configuration, and debugging techniques, Protect systems
- CCTV Solution administration and configuration
- Oracle ERP Client installation and troubleshooting
- Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with our Development Team to resolve more advanced issues when necessary
- Resolving escalated user s complaints without the need for team lead intervention
- Hand on experience in supporting Next-Generation Firewall i.e. Sophos
- Experience in supporting users remotely and at the site who are connected through VPN & Web security gateways and Email Security Gateways
- Routinely test software for bugs, redundancies, and security issues
- Perform other related duties as required
- Comply with IT department Cyber Security Strategy
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Experience in managing and troubleshooting networking devices (Switches, Routers, Concentrators, Load balancers)
- Patch systems with the latest upgrades and security hotfixes including desktops, routers, servers, and switches
- Hands-on experience in managing Servers (Windows/ Unix/Linux), Backup
- Management, Disaster Recovery, Failover, Endpoint Security Management
- VPN (SSL, IPsec) Configuration, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
- Preparation of technical documents, reports, and user guidelines
- Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
