Job Summary :

The Backend Developer is responsible for managing the interchange of data between the site/software users and servers. The primary focus of the Backend Developer is to develop the server-side logic as well as the development and maintenance of the central database, ensuring high responsiveness and performance to requests from the frontend.

Key Deliverables :

• Must be highly skilled at developing Application Program Interface (APIs)
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implementation of security and data protection.
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions.

Skills Required :

• Highly experienced with back-end programming languages Ex: PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript etc
• Experience working with micro-service architecture
• Familiar with REST API
• Understanding, creating, manipulating, and querying database Mongo DB, Postgres etc.
• Worked with caching technology like Redis etc.
• Used distributed streaming product like Kafka
• Proficient experience using ex: advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Angular JS, Knockout JS, Backbone JS, React JS, etc.
• Preferably done Front-end code in one or more languages, e.g. HTML, JavaScript, Java, etc.
• Done some aspect of Project management e.g. gathering requirements, creating technical specifications and architecture documents, creating good documentation, managing a project timeline (e.g., someone who knows Agile/SCRUM/Kanban)
• Experience on Azure PAAS is a plus.
