Why we are looking for you
- You have experience in Oracle database design, development, testing, maintenance, and support for Enterprise Data (multiple financial data sources and platforms)
- You have the experience and ability to design and implement data loading (ETL) and publishing processes within the Database environment, including advanced knowledge and skills in SQL to run queries for data analysis and data profiling
- You have experience in the design and implementation of models, including the construction of Facts and Dimensions with hierarchies, attributes, measures and integrating various sources of data
- You have an overall understanding of systems architecture & technology development life cycle
- You enjoy being part of a team on the ground floor, implementing new processes and procedures for new database development, maintenance and on-going support
What you will enjoy in this role
- As part of the Epsilon Financial Systems support team, you will be helping to build and implement processes and procedures to support our internal financial systems
- You will work with the broader team to support the finance organization on the monthly forecasting process utilizing your database management skills (including SQL, stored procedures, ETL s etc)
- You will use your project management skills to drive cross-functional deliverables to completion
- You will supervise a 2 3-member team and work closely with the broader financial systems support team to meet overall goals
What you will do
- Responsible for Oracle database development, testing, maintenance, and system support of enterprise data across multiple platforms (ERP, CRM, SFTP, other financial tools), ETL s (i.e. Toad / Xactly Connect) and various data sources
- Implement support processes across internal financial systems including document management (i.e. workflows, integrations and instructions), issue tracking and coordination of release schedules
- Supervise a 2-3 member development/support team
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or Business degree with a strong systems background.
- Ideal education would be IT degree with an Accounting/Finance minor or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience with database development with extensive experience with PL SQL, ETL tools
- Experience in project management, systems development support functions or prior experience with financial data desirable
