• Working alongside designers to ensure components are accurately represented and implemented correctly across products
• Explore and implement motion and animation design
• Enforce accessibility and responsiveness across devices and browsers
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to deliver great user experiences
• Continuously research new and best coding practices
• Help train other engineers on Angular, accessibility, and design system integration

What you will do

• You'll work closely with the UX design team to lead the initiatives to build UI components and prototypes for Epsilon's products across platforms
• As a UX Engineer, you'll still code in JS, CSS, and HTML, work on Angular frameworks, help in building UI components/libraries, hi-fi prototypes from the design team's mocks.
• You'll also act as a consultant to the design team, recommending specific tweaks to their design, ex: animations and UI layout, to give the best user experience.
• Implement new features for Epsilon's products by quickly and efficiently transforming mock-ups into working user interfaces

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in front-end development or related discipline
• Degree in computer science, design, or related field preferred.
• Strong experience with JavaScript UI frameworks, we use Angular
• Well-versed in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, including cross-device and cross-browser support
• Experience with semantic HTML and accessibility, meeting W3C/WCAG standards
• Experience with SCSS, SASS preferred
• Experience with responsive layout (Bootstrap, CSS Grid)
• Experience testing your code by writing automated tests
• Appreciation for design with a strong eye for detail and experience working alongside designers
• Strong communication skills that include leading design-related conversations and fostering an environment for collaboration
• Passionate learner as well as teacher
• Strong team player who can self-manage time and deliverables proactively
• Experience with version and source control, preferably Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, and Jira
• Experience working in an Agile team structure
