The Role: Senior Software Developer
Join Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) the leader in Wireless-WAN enterprise connectivity, Private 5G networks, and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions. We're on a mission to revolutionize Industry 4.0 through the Ericsson Private 5G (EP5G) product. This next-generation private network enables organizations to drive business-critical operations with secure, powerful 4G LTE and 5G Standalone (SA) connectivity.
As part of our Service Team, you ll design and develop microservices that manage the Network Controller and provide Visibility features.
What You ll Do
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based microservices using Golang, Java, and Python.
- Lead and participate in feature analysis, design, and technical breakdown activities.
- Troubleshoot issues in both development and production environments.
- Write and maintain automated test cases.
- Continuously deliver small batches of working software to the main branch.
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce innovative solutions to enhance application performance and efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software development with Golang and/or Java in Google Cloud or AWS environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
- Solid experience with databases (MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB) and building REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of data structures and functional/object-oriented design.
- Experience with Python for automated testing.
- Positive attitude and ability to estimate development tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Full-stack development experience, including frontend development with JavaScript.
