The opportunity

EY is looking for Senior Consultant/ Consultant/ Associate Consultant Performance Improvement (Insurance)

Your key responsibilities

Client service delivery/execution

Execute projects at times supporting multiple clients. Assume near independent responsibility for smaller clients
Manage client personnel

Knowledge Management

Assist in developing point of views / thought leadership
Support knowledge sharing efforts and continually improve processes so that the work team can capture and leverage knowledge

Business development

Support business development efforts including taking proposal preparation
Identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicate to manager
Network internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm in order to gain understanding of issues that may impact issues with his clients
Develop industry expertise
People Management

?Learn and develop team management skills

Skills and attributes for success

Experience in any of the sectors listed - Automotive, Consumer Products, Diversified industrial products, Metals and Mining, Pharmaceuticals, Retail, Technology, BFSI etc.

To qualify for the role you must have

B.E. / B.Tech. + MBA or CA + MBA (preferably from a premier institute such as IIMs, NITIE, SP Jain, XLRI, ISB, FMS etc.) with a good academic background
1-3 years of experience with exposure to consultancy (preferably BFSI sector) or insurance / reinsurance industry
Understanding of key business processes in the BFSI sector
Preference will be given to the candidates having worked on at least 2-3 of the following areas:

?Strategy formulation and implementation
?Business planning
?Financial planning, budgeting and analysis
?Strategic cost optimization
?Process reengineering / transformation
?Market entry & business growth strategy
?Distribution transformation
?Organization level project / program management

Experience of working with the leadership team and CXOs of the firm(s) is desired, but not essential
Candidates having exposure to different lines of business within insurance sector (General, Health, Life insurance) will have an added advantage

Ideally youll also have

Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
