Academic Qualification
CA or MBA (preferably from a premier institute) with a good academic background
Experience
?Required
The candidate should :
Have 1-2 years of relevant post qualification experience
Have exposure to M&A or research.
Have basic knowledge of the rules and regulations that apply to M&A deals or should have done research in a couple of sectors
High team orientation
Good communication both written and oral (including report writing)
Analytical skills
Strong Financial modeling skills
Should be well conversant with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Significant amount of initiative.
?Preferred
Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with:
Investment banks
Strategy teams of large corporates
BPO's, specifically those in the IB / Research teams
Private equity / venture capital firms
Roles/Responsibilities
Understand client issues
Provide support to the team in efficiency and productivity of managing an engagement
Risk Management
Support on marketing pitches
Independent charge of financial modeling
Prepare deliverables for engagements
