The opportunity

The Identity Engineer role in IdentityManagement Engineering delivers Identity solutions utilizing commercial off theshelf products and custom developed solutions.These solutions must take into account industry best practices as partof each design. Expertise in theintegration of complex enterprise components will be necessary to support theproducts within the Identity and Access Management Services (IAMS) team. Inaddition to Identity Management Engineering, this role utilizes appropriateprogramming languages such as Java Enterprise, Java Script, C# and HTML5 todevelop new and or modify existing applications that will help integrateprocesses within Information Security (IS) and customer across other functionalareas within EY. The role is for a mid-level experienced engineer with exposureto Web front-end, SQL back end batch script development experience. Additionalexperience/exposure to with Microsofts Forefront Identity Manager (MIM/FIM)Sync Engine, Oracle OIM and or any other Identity Management system is a plus.The role is an individual contributor,though may be asked to manage project aligned teams in their collaborativeefforts of the Identity Management Engineering team in complex directives.The role is guided by the Team Leadfor Identity Management Engineering in IAMS.

Your key responsibilities

• Applying best practices, the candidate willintegrate innovative technology solutions in support of the Identity and AccessManagement Service (IAMS).
• Vital to thetechnical engineering of these solutions will be a clear understanding ofchange management.
• This will include code and infrastructure releasemanagement, as well as the ability to work with project teams to deliver allactivities required in the successful release of new or modified functionalitywithin a complex environment.
• Keenattention to detail will be required to deliver secure solutions that meetbusiness requirements and are operationally supportable by IAMS partner teams.
• Partners and collaborates withinIAMS, and others in Information Security (IS) as application owners, as well asexternal vendors such as Microsoft as needed to understand, agree and plan thespecific infrastructure enhancements and code modifications necessary to achievethe agreed deployment objectives.
• Works within Microsoft serverenvironments to drive engineering and development across heterogeneous andin-house developed computing environments so that they collectively completecomplex tasks within IAM aligned service applications.
• Perform development activities usinga variety of computer programming languages such as Structured Query Language(SQL), HTML5, Power Shell, JavaScript (JS) and Java Enterprise Development todevelop, modify and manage code aligned business rules that result from same.
• Provide development support withapplications in N Tier, MVC and SOA Architectures using Java Frameworkincluding latest versions of TFS and Visual Studio.
• Exposure and understanding of designtechniques with JavaScript, J Query, Knockout, Angular JS, AJAX, Multithreading,HTML and REST/Web API.
• Good understanding of physical andlogical data models, including system integration in relational SQL databases,mySQL, Active Directory, LDAP Directories, Unix, and Office 365.
• Creates or collaborate in thecreation of visual mock ups, prototypes and diagrams as well as performs ordirects testing for compatibility in order to achieve an integratedarchitecture across interdependent technologies in IAM.
• Communicates all the ongoingactivities and results to business sponsors, stakeholders as well as managementas part of knowledge sharing and reporting.
• Maintains a proactive approach tolearning about IAM align components within the Information Security (IS) infrastructuresuch as MS SQL, T-SQL, Store Procedures, the Active Directory technicalenvironment Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration, and Lightweight DirectoryAccess Protocol (LDAP).
• The role requires strong analyticalacumen and solution orientation to understand the nuances of assigned engineeringand development activities across geographic regions, IT server environments oroperating systems and to solution within same as well as to guide and planappropriate solutions.
• The role also requires consultativequestioning, influence management and critical thinking skills to understand acurrent directive and recommend and design viable web development solutionsthat are both cost effective and supporting the value to the business.

• Develops an in depth and continuousunderstanding of EYs business and the way IAMS teams adds to the effectivenessof the EY business.
• Exposure to any identity managementtools like MIM, Oracle OIM, Saviynt, SailPoint, etc. is a plus.
• Knowledgeable of Active Directoryarchitecture and AD LDS Lightweight Directory Services.
• Maintains advanced and continuousknowledge of the remediation and implementation the aforementionedtechnologies.
• The role may also require theperiodic allocation of additional time on the job to support multiple demandsand escalating issues and could be asked to travel to support planned projectactivities and collaboration.
• The role may require a flexible workschedule to meet project deliverables over periods such as evenings, weekends,and public holidays. Participation in anon-call schedule is also a necessary part of the engineering role

To qualify for the role youmust have

Education:

• College degree inrelated technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparablejob experiences

• Approximately 5 to 8years of experience in an Identity Management engineering / developer role.Able to exhibit a progression of increasingly complex job responsibilitiesduring the period inclusive of project management skills, web developmentunderstanding and application remediation techniques as well as projectplanning and implementation. Othervaluable experience includes Hitachi Password Manager and RSA.
• Approximately 3 years of related systemintegration support experience using Java Enterprise and Java script
• Approximately 2 years of writingcomplex stored procedures in Microsoft SQL servers or my SQL
• Clear understanding of Dev Ops/Win Opsmethodologies
• Thorough understanding of SecureCode compliance
• Experience in using InformationTechnology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process improvement frameworks

CertificationRequirements:

• ITIL Foundations (V2 or V3)
