Azure Cloud Engineer(Python) - Senior

As part of our EY-DET-FS team, you will help clients developtheir next generation digital transformation strategies, solutioning & productdevelopment. Working with EY-DET-FS. proprietary frameworks, you will help clientsdetermine the best way to digitalize their businesses. This includes developingcloud-based solutions and defining transformation strategies for the financialsector.

The opportunity

Were looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer (Python) withexpertise in Technology Consulting to join the leadership group of our EY-DET-FSTeam. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst beinginstrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

Your key responsibilities

• You have experience working in Azure cloud technologies (IaaS& PaaS) and in JavaScript based frameworks. You have a passion for creatinggreat software and applications in an Agile scrum environment

• You have strong development experience in Python.

• You will also ensure support in analysis and designing during allphases of software production, including suggesting the most effectivesolutions for its implementation.

• Research, assess and adopt new technologies as required

• Strive for quality of performance, usability, reliability,maintainability and extensibility

• Implement unit, integration and other automated tests

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, create andfollow process documents.

• Strong understanding of the MS Azure product and services suite ofproducts and their applicable use cases, best practices and implementation, andsupport considerations.

• Experience working in a consulting environment preferred.

• Team player, ability to be able to work with virtual teams

• Ability to work in a variety of client settings and platforms

To qualify for the role, you must have

• BTech/ MTech ORMasters in Computer Applications

• 6-10 years of soundindustry experience.

• 2-3 years hands-onexperience in Python

• Strong developmentexperience Azure services

• ARM APIs

• Serverless Functions including App Insights, Key Vault integration etc.

• Storage Accounts, primarily blobs

• SQL Databases including creation of Stored Procs, simple data modellingetc.

• Logic Apps

• Key Vaults

• Virtual Networks

• Log Analytics

• Understanding ofJSON/YAML

• Understanding ofdevelopment within an event-driven architecture

• Use of AzureDevOps in development, including:

• Story boards to display progress

• Repos for source control

• Automated testing

• Creation and execution CI/CD pipelines (ideally using both GUI and YAML)

• Problem solvingskills.

• General knowledgeand application of software/solution engineering concepts.

• Excellentcommunication skills.

• Able to analyzeinformation and draw accurate conclusions.

• Able to work in ateam

• Azure AD for IAM and RBAC, OAuth 2.0 authentication
• Understanding of encryption (at-rest and in-transit)
• CosmosDb/Table Storage Accounts (primarily as document store)
• Event Grid/Service Bus
• Azure Monitor
• Understanding of Azure Policies and Blueprints and how they areimplemented
• Use of Subscriptions, Management Groups and Resource Groups as a meansof separation
• Basic dashboard development in PowerBI/DAX

Nice tohave:

• Azure Security including Security Center, Threat Detection, M365 Risk & Compliance, AIP, Sentinel, MCAS etc.
• Experience in graph databases, e.g. Neo4J, CosmosDb
• Microsoft Graph APIs
• Understanding of AWS and GCP, including
• OAuth 2.0 authentication
• Creation of resources
• Understanding of Terraform
