Job Summary

Copywriter Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Writing clear, compelling copy for various mediums (social media posts/campaigns, ads, email campaigns, blog posts, newsletters, etc.)
  • Write clear, attractive copy that adheres to the company s style guidelines with a distinct tone that reflects the brand s voice
  • Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
  • Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts
  • Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to business leaders
  • Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content
  • Work closely with the digital marketing team to produce content that generates results
  • Edit and proofread copy as needed
  • Use SEO principles to maximize copy s reach
  • Source images and other content

Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Know-how of how social media copies gain traction and achieve viral-figure to attract more users
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Knowledge of design tools is preferable so as to add a graphical element to the copy
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Elementary knowledge of SEO
  • Effective research skills
  • Creativity
  • Collaborative spirit
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Aptitude to craft blog content is preferred, but not mandatory
  • The ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
  • Flexibility to evolve strategies quickly & effectively

Qualification and Experience: Bachelor s degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field.
