What Youll Be Doing:

• Building Analysis Services reporting models.
• Developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using the BI tool.
• Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Assist users with complex scenarios in Data visualization, guiding them on how to resolve their questions
• Partner with our Director of Reporting and manage projects as assigned
• Partner with stakeholders to help guide and understand their analytical thought process
• Develop robust data visualization products that clearly communicate ideas
• Work with engineers and other analysts to maintain the consistency and reliability of the data warehouse
• Boil technical findings down into business recommendations
• Work with product managers, engineers, designers, and other analysts to drive business results
• Involved in developing and executing training initiatives for end-users
• Process ad-hoc data and reporting requests/enhancements, including maintenance of existing reports and dashboards
• Work with business partners to gather and develop analytics/reporting requirements and enable data visualizations and workbooks. This work can involve understanding data requirements, creation/modification of database views

What We Expect You To Have:

• Advanced knowledge of Tableau Desktop or similar data visualization tool
• Ability to assist users with complex capabilities and resolve inquiries
• 3+ Years of analytics in a business environment
• Demonstrate your expertise in writing and validating complex SQL queries
• Demonstrate experience teaching or explaining technical results or concepts to less technical audiences
• Familiarity with basic design concepts & common dashboard development pattern
• Proven ability to execute on projects quickly get things done mentality
• Unabashed question asker; willing to learn anything needed to get things done
• Familiar with compiling data from disparate sources using ETL tools
• Understanding of data extraction mechanisms and data warehousing concepts
• Good SQL skills and hands-on exposure to tools like Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Qliksense, QlikView, etc., will be an add-on
• Ability to use scripting languages to leverage Data Visualization softwares APIs (JavaScript API, Data Extract API, REST API)
• Basic knowledge and experience with Python

• Metric Design- Are the metrics a good representation of our business model?
• Completion-Are all major topics and areas of the business covered by the suite of dashboards?
• Accuracy-Are the chose metrics calculated accurately?
• Reliability-Are our dashboards up to date and compliant?
• Organization-Can end users find the canonical answer about any arbitrary high-level topic?
• Distribution-Ensure dashboards are delivered timely to stakeholders
• Usability-Do end-users know how to properly use dashboards?
• Beauty-Are the dashboards a joy to look at AND use?
