Role & Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in customizing Odoo ERP systems based on client requirements, developing modules, and ensuring smooth integration and functionality. You will be responsible for developing and modifying features to align with client needs and providing technical solutions to improve business processes.

• Odoo ERP Customization:
  • Analyze and study the existing version of Odoo to understand the customizations required.
  • Map client requirements to the existing system and provide timely solutions.
  • Develop, modify, and enhance Odoo modules based on the client s specifications and needs.
• Module Development:
  • Create custom Odoo modules as per client requirements.
  • Implement changes to Odoo s default modules (e.g., Sales, Purchase, Warehouse, HR, Inventory Management) and ensure smooth integration with other systems.
• System Integration:
  • Work with API integrations in Odoo, ensuring seamless connectivity with third-party applications and services.
  • Implement QWeb for reporting in Odoo and customize it based on requirements.
• Version Control & Code Management:
  • Use GIT for version control to manage codebases and collaborate with the development team.
  • Participate in code reviews, release management, and ensure proper code quality practices are followed.
• Testing & Troubleshooting:
  • Conduct unit testing on the features developed to ensure functionality and bug-free performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues and bugs in the Odoo system.
• Collaboration & Innovation:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Be a proactive team member and contribute innovative ideas to improve business processes.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in Odoo development and customization.
  • Strong background in Python programming and related libraries.
  • Experience working with Odoo version 10 or above.
• Skills:
  • Deep understanding of Odoo Framework and the ability to create custom modules based on client needs.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including writing queries and stored procedures.
  • Proficiency in GIT for version control and collaborative development.
  • Basic knowledge of API integrations in Odoo for system connectivity.
  • Experience with QWeb for reporting in Odoo.
  • Strong problem-solving, logical thinking, and debugging skills.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Good communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Ability to understand the general ERP flow and its applications in business processes.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project goals and deadlines.
