Job Summary

Carrier Relations @ Exotel

Owners of procurement, cost, margin, enablement and Business operations at Exotel. We build relationships with major telephony, infrastructure and OEM players across the globe to help create a scalable & reliable infrastructure for Exotel

What you will do?

  • To manage telecom carrier and service partners to deliver service and cost base improvement in Asia.
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with international carriers, local operators, aggregators, SMS hubs to grow and strengthen our bilateral route connectivity and clientele
  • Manage the overall business relationships with telecommunication providers, including daily, weekly, and monthly communication, deal-making and negotiation, contract negotiation, strategic direction, buying and selling.
  • Carry out all necessary studies, analyses and cost calculations with the aim of minimizing the cost from the providers
  • Daily route management and trading
  • Maintain payment flows and collectables, invoicing, negotiations.
  • Execution of strategic projects
  • Process enhancements to increase operational efficiency
  • Purchase to Payment: Documentation, Implementation, and Log Keeping

What are we looking for?

  • Deep knowledge of the wholesale & operator messaging universe
  • Applicants with a max of 4 years of experience in Operations Management/Vendor Management roles can apply
  • Prior experience of working with the International vendors will be an added advantage
  • Should have an aptitude towards data and analysis
  • Should have excellent time-management skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of Products, i.e. Word, Excel, etc
  • Should be a go-getter, ability to work independently is a must
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
