Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Manager manages a team of Quality Engineers, Senior Quality Engineers, and Quality Assurance Leaders who provide quality assurance for all client implementations across our platforms. The Quality Assurance Manager works with the department leadership team to provide oversight and guidance to the quality assurance team in areas of process improvement, automation, quality control, and testing. Collaboratively with department leadership, the Quality Assurance Manager establishes priorities and goals and ensures proper staffing priorities and workflows are met for successful and timely project delivery. The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for resource management, including assignments, hiring, training, time off approvals, performance evaluation, and developing and monitoring goals for the team. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Manager develops and implements assessment processes that are timely, accurate, and repeatable and standards for test plans and test execution procedures. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Information systems, or related field preferred; or the equivalent years of relevant work experience required. A minimum of 15 years of related work experience in an IT-related role, a minimum of 5 years of experience in industry-standard testing tools and principles, and a minimum of 3 years of management experience are required. Intermediate skill level of MS Office suite including Excel and Word is required. Candidates should have an advanced understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, Software Testing Life Cycle, and various project management methodology, such as Agile. Experience in writing and maintaining automated testing tools and processes, knowledge of debugging tools and techniques, and experience in the insurance and financial services industry are preferred.
