Embedded Software Engineer Responsibilities

Include:

Designingand implementing software of embedded devices and systems

Designing,developing, coding, testing and debugging system software

Analyzingand enhancing efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources

Designand implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements toproduction and commercial deployment

Design,develop, code, test and debug system software

Reviewcode and design

Analyzeand enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources

Integrateand validate new product designs

Supportsoftware QA and optimize I/O performance

Providepost production support

Interfacewith hardware design and development

Assessthird party and open source software

Requirements

Provenexpert in software engineering

Expertin development and troubleshooting on embedded targets

Solidprogramming experience in C or C++

Expertin embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operatingsystems

Familiaritywith software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peerreview

Excellentknowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardwaresubsystems

Adequateknowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components

Strongdocumentation and writing skills

Note: Candidates who completed basic embedded course willbe preferred.
