Reporting To: Deputy General Manager Business Development
Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to nurture strong client relationships and ensure their needs are met promptly and effectively. This role is crucial in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and closing high-impact deals both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess industry trends, publications, and market events to uncover new business opportunities.
- Proactively approach potential partners and clients to explore and develop new business prospects.
- Analyze and screen business opportunities based on market strategies, deal viability, financial considerations, and internal priorities.
- Develop and implement negotiation strategies aligned with company goals and operational frameworks.
- Lead contract discussions and manage integration of new clients or partners into business operations.
- Safeguard company information and maintain strict confidentiality throughout business dealings.
- Continuously enhance professional knowledge through networking, reading industry publications, and participating in relevant forums.
- Contribute to organizational growth by identifying new value-creation opportunities and taking ownership of unique business initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering; MBA preferred
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong prospecting and deal-closing abilities
- Strategic sales planning and budgeting proficiency
- Solid understanding of market dynamics and customer needs
- Effective presentation and client engagement skills
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
