Job Title: Service Engineer

Location: Andheri, Mumbai (Head Office)

Reporting To: Vice President International Execution

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to manage service, erection, and commissioning activities across international projects. The ideal candidate will maintain strong relationships with clients, address their concerns efficiently, and ensure high-quality service standards are consistently met.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sectors

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform service, erection, and commissioning of machines and systems at customer sites.
  • Handle breakdown, maintenance, and emergency service calls, ensuring quick turnaround and quality resolution.
  • Ensure timely achievement of service objectives, maintaining high standards in quality and response time.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal departments for smooth coordination.
  • Attend to customer complaints and coordinate with principal suppliers for resolution.
  • Prepare and maintain service reports, schedules, and other necessary documentation.
  • Oversee packing material orders, supervise packing operations, and liaise with logistics for timely dispatch.
  • Assemble machinery, connect utilities, and conduct demo runs at client sites.
  • Generate minutes of meetings and assist in validation processes and technical documentation.
  • Create and forward picking lists, and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.

Technical and Soft Skills:

  • Prior experience as a Service Engineer in pharmaceutical or manufacturing companies is essential.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for on-site service assignments (domestic and international).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical issues and delivering technical support.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Knowledge of CAD is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in challenging field conditions.
