Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Associate to join our team in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The ideal candidate will be skilled in commodity price negotiation, procurement management, and have a deep understanding of agri-business and commodity markets specific to their geographical area. This role demands strong communication skills, dedication, and the flexibility to travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Agri Input Retailers and local suppliers.
• Accurately maintain procurement, pricing, and quality records for agri-commodities.
• Analyze procurement data and review retailers (Khad Vij Vikreta), trades (Aadat), and related stakeholders.
• Develop and execute strategic purchasing plans for commodities, services, and supplies.
• Negotiate competitive pricing and supply contracts to maximize value and quality.
• Ensure the quality of commodities including Paddy, Rice, Wheat, Soya, Gram, Maize, Black Gram, Barley, Millet.
• Continuously update and maintain an active database of agri-retailers, including qualifications and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with procurement managers and team members to meet organizational goals.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Expertise in quality control (QC) for a minimum of two major commodities in your region.
• Willingness to travel extensively (minimum 50 km per day) and relocate if required.
• Strong background in procuring Wheat, Maize, Paddy, Gaur Seeds, Mustard.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience or willingness to develop skills in quality management and vendor negotiation through on-the-job training.
• Familiarity with purchasing processes and vendor management is a plus.
