Devops Engineer - Python Must - Investment Banking Domain Job in Fcs Software Solutions Limited

We are currently seeking DevOps Engineer - Python Must with relevant experience in financial services sector in our India Research and Development Center.

As a member of our, you will provide hands-on support to our traders to safeguard the performance and stability of our proprietary trading systems. To do this, you will collaborate with highly skilled and motivated colleagues such as Traders, Developers and System Engineers.

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to work with world-class trading, IT and research teams based in New York, Paris and Bangkok

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with global team members to enhance existing systems.
• Respond quickly to any technical related issues for in house trading applications, with a strong sense of urgency and customer focus
• Optimize our trading application infrastructure by improving existing automation tools and developing new ones
• Perform monitoring of trading activity, production systems and processes across all regions (US, EU and APAC) and support global trading operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages
• Proficiency in Python
• Understanding of financial concepts and understanding of Investment Banking/Hedge Funds
• Prior experience in working for a trading firm in a similar role is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, with a service minded attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills

Interested in the dynamics of financial markets

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics or Computer Science, Engineering, or Econometrics or in STEM specialties.
• Hedge Fund, Asset Management or Proprietary trading background a plus
• 2-3 years relevant experience desirable.
