Role Summary:

The hire in this position will be a part of the Core Technology team participating in the continuous evolution of FNP resulting in systems on the bleeding edge of the Technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop user interface and interactions using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Take ownership of components and be responsible for the sub systems right from design, code, testing, integration, to deployment, and further enhancements.
• Generate Restful Services specifications and coordinate with other development teams for implementation
• Understand Requirements for assigned tasks
• Design and Develop assigned functions
• Independent delivery of all assigned tasks
• Delivery of assigned tasks in time
• Perform unit tests for the tasks
• Report status, intimate any risks identified with the task delivery to team lead

EXPERIENCE:

• 4 years of experience in developing web applications
• At least 2 year of hands-on experience in building applications in React JS
• Solid understanding of Java script fundamentals including ES6
• Hands-on web development experience including the following technologies: jQuery, XML, JSON, HTML5, CSS, Ajax etc.
• Have experience on team using Agile/Scrum methodologies, continuous integration, continuous delivery, test automation and release management
• Experience with web-scale online platforms and capabilities including mobile web development
• Knowledge in distributed front end / backend systems and API design (REST)
• Experience with version control software such as Git
• Use of Firebug or Web Developer toolkits and IDEs
• Mobile app development experience is a plus
• Should have worked on projects with agile / scrum methodology

KNOWLEDGE:

• Domain understanding of ecommerce
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, and the JavaScript object model
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWT is a plus
• Best practices in building React JS applications esp., using Redux
• Agile / Scrum methodology
