Role Summary:

This Position is for the E-Commerce business vertical. The hire for this position will be part of the Business Intelligence team and will handle the global vertical.

Responsibilities

• Enhance / maintain a web-scale, global and flexible analytics platform that provides our teams with structured access to their data, sourced from a disparate set of systems around the globe with more focus to India business.
• Lead a team of engineers, data scientists and analysts to build products that help our business leaders and partners in Online to attract, retain and grow customers.
• Enhance and maintain the system to enable business leaders with enriched data, to take decisions on growing revenue, improving operational efficiency and cost reduction.
• Build a sustained MIS system and team,
• Team: Engineers, system analysts, data scientists.
• Business Intelligence project estimation and forecasting and delivering analytics solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner to support the business requirements with more focus to Web Analytics and Business Analytics.
• Partner with product owners to invent on behalf of our customers. You will work with Software Developers, BI/Data Engineers, Category & Sales team to get ahead of the biggest business challenges by drawing actionable insights from data.
• Analyse the existing trends and comparing them with their respective targets/trends and enable business units to take an informed decision using analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel, Access, VBA, SQL, Tableau/ Power BI/ big data. Business Objects, etc.
• Knows and loves working with business intelligence tools, can model multidimensional datasets, and can partner with business leaders to answer key business questions.
• Responsible for developing, leading and executing Forecasting & Predictive Analytics to support strategy development and business decision-making within the online businesses.
• Interfacing with key stakeholders in order to plan and execute Business Intelligence (BI) projects; Improvements and development within the Analytics team.

Experience & Skillsets:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Operations Research, Math, or related discipline.
• More than 7 years of professional experience leading data engineering/business intelligence and application development teams
• Hands-on experience Advanced (desired) SQL/ETL
• Fluent in R and/or Python, Tableau/Power BI, AWS platform and technologies (Eg: Redshift) and databases in a large-scale, complex business environment.
• Exposure of working on AWS stacks incl. Athena, Hive for large scale unstructured data sets.
• Proven track record of ability to influence business partners to balance the need to deliver fast and build scalable solutions.
• Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies
• Self-motivated & a go-getter.
• Cross functional, communication, influencing- FNP 9 competencies
