Job Title Lead QA Engineering

This is a challenging opportunity for a tech savvy associate to play a pivotal role in solving complex business challenges using technology in the Financial Services domain.

The Purpose of This Role

The Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) Technology teams manage applications that provide accounting and investment management support to Fidelity businesses and mutual fund shareholders As a Business Flow Test squad member, you will be involved in the worlds of development and IT-operations. You will play a key role in the development of new automation ideas for products and services and work with the team in turning these ideas into realities. This could include participating in brainstorming meetings and creation of solution mock-ups and identifying possible design flaws until the resulting solution is satisfactory. The role calls for understanding technology well at both the server level and at the development level.

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements for automation
  • Build process diagrams to define the end to end business flows
• Define run books and business flow definitions that translate into automation requirements
• Execute on the run book with expertise in integration testing, end to end testing between the squad and external/internal partners
  • Expertise in Data mining and Database Validation
  • Manage the bug triage process (defect tracking) and provide reporting on testing plans, statuses and metrics
• Manage infrastructure, connectivity and executions across products on a cadence
• Automation skills to build end to end automation of critical business processed
  • Good understanding of the software development process and engineering design principles
  • Can quickly set up test harness to quickly test functionality
  • Design and maintain Automation scripts using Java, scripting languages like Perl

Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations [FFIO] provides accounting and investment management support services to Fidelity businesses and mutual fund shareholders. You will be playing a key role in an important initiative for FFIO with the goal to increase production stability, make testing of business flows easier and faster. Your role will be the lead of development and maintenance of Automation solutions. Your role will also actively lead and contribute in the day-to-day planning, setup and execution of end-to-end business flows in a non-production environment

The Expertise Were Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related subject.
• 6+ years of experience in information technology.
• Financial services experience preferred.

Shift timings: 11:30 AM - 8:30pm
