• Define patterns and best practices for application and infrastructure design, engineering and development.
• Lead, mentor and provide design and architecture for delivery teams. Collaborate with product and engineering leads and senior management on product and delivery requirements, roadmaps and vision, working closely with delivery teams from project inception to implementation

The Purpose of This Role

As an architect in Brokerage Technology you will provide the technical vision and leadership required to deliver complex and critical solutions. You will have ability to code, evaluate products and solutions by executing POCs, you will work with the business/product teams , development teams and the infrastructure teams to product detailed functional and technical design documents, engaging with senior management and business teams will be critical to your success.

• Experience in cloud technologies and practices, building applications using services such as AWS EC2, Lambda, EMR, CloudFormation and OpsWorks, and a well-grounded knowledge of engineering and continuous delivery practices.
• Passionate about technologyand delivering solutions for difficult and intricate problems. Current on functional and reactive programming, microservices
• Experience with event driven architectures,caching, scale-out architectures, designing systems for high throughput, low latency, managing conflation, high availability and fault tolerance
• Undergraduate degree in computer science or a related field ideally combined with an advanced technical degree.

Education and Expertise Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Computer science or any other discipline

• 15+ years of experience in Java development, Architecture, and Cloud technologies .
