Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to develop and execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing test plans, creating test scripts for functional and load testing, and using tools like JMeter for performance evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning: Write comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements to ensure all aspects of the software are thoroughly tested.
- Automated Functional Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to perform functional testing, ensuring efficient and accurate execution.
- Manual Testing: Perform manual testing of applications, identifying defects and collaborating with developers to resolve them.
- Load Testing: Create automated test scripts for load testing and perform load testing using JMeter to simulate real-world traffic and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Continuous Improvement: Review and refine testing processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and test coverage.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in writing test plans and test cases from requirements.
- Proficient in manual testing and automated functional testing using well-known tools.
- Hands-on experience with JMeter for automated and load testing.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
