About the team:

This position is accountable for developing, implementing and overseeing the compliance standards and controls related to licenses and permits for Flipkart Group. Accountable to develop, implement and oversee all company licenses and permits policies, procedures and internal controls, and to ensure they are reviewed, at least annually, and maintained. Accountable to ensure that all invoices for payment are processed timely in-line with financial controls and standards. Accountable to ensure that all procedures and controls are compliant with business partner or controlling business units requirements.

About the role:

Provides License and Permits SME with necessary information to be able to accurately report on License and Permits statuses, and other requests for information as required, to International senior management and key business partners. Leads the administration maintenance of the license and permits tracking system and associates files so to ensure that license and permits specialists have all required information available in system. Identifies and acts on opportunities to reduce costs and expenses with regards to use of approved third-party intermediaries and fees associated with license and permits procurement and maintenance. Ensures that an accurate and current listing of all required permits and licenses requirements at central, state and municipal level is maintained and that standard operating procedures exist for the same. Identifies required operational controls and documentation that must be in place in support of permits and licenses requirements, and designs and implements same. Develop and implement required internal training and documentation on licenses and permits processes and procedures. Develop and implement required audits and assessments to ensure that Group is operating in compliance with terms and conditions of licenses and permits to provide continuous improvement and transparency on compliance performance to international senior management and key business partners. Provides performance management, coaching and development to a team of one licenses and permits controls and analytics specialist.

What we are looking for?

Project manager, engineering, legal or accounting professionals with 8-10 years of experience in risk management, corporate documentation production and control, project management and auditing for continuous improvement. Ideally should have awareness of business licensing and permits requirements.
