About the team

Lastmile Large is a 6+ yrs old team under the Flipkart umbrella, with the sole mission to provide Best Customer experience & Customer Delight serving the gamut of products under Flipkart platform. The team would enable Customers with multiple choices of faster deliveries bridging the gap of Urgent Customer Needs with a wider array of selection. The team is a high intensity team with the perfect blend of folks bringing complementary expertise from Fulfillment Centers, Last/Middle Mile & Customer Services.

About the role

The incumbent would be heading a state and managing operations, people and key stakeholders ensuring that the management expectations are met and the operations run smoothly without ambiguity. This person would be the bridge between leadership and the ground operations. Person would also be solving day to day operational issues and ensuring that the set targets/SLAs are met.

What youll do:

  • Manage the end to end Lastmile operations at his/her region and oversee all administrative functions of the Hub's.

  • Spearhead expansion and growth planned for the region, with effective use of technology in Hub's.

  • Manage Total Hub Cost, Service Performance and ensure Safe working environment at the Hub.

  • Plan, Design and submit the prerequisite for expansion of delivery footprints followed by best customer experience.

  • Team Management, Work hygiene etc.

  • Cost controlling & cost reduction.

  • Vendor management & development.

  • Complete Hub's operational requirements by scheduling, Engaging and assigning employees- Following up on work results.

  • End to End Lastmile operations exposure and experience.


What youll need:

  • Candidate should speak the local language.

  • Engineer/Graduation or MBA is required.

  • Should have at-least 8+ yrs ofteam Handling Experience.

  • Experience with translating business requirements into operational processes
