Job Summary

Senior Manager - Strategy

Owning and delivering on key priorities for Flipkart, by driving long-term strategic programs

Responsibilities for this role:

Drive strategic agenda across 2-3 key CEO-facing priorities for the organization, that enables achievement of business objectives and drives growth across multiple functions

  • Define strategy for key priorities for Flipkart, breaking it down into initiatives and driving the desired outcomes, with the aim to enhance Customer Experience and Perception, ensuring competitive advantage with an outside-in view

  • Own targets for initiatives, and ensure success through tracking, performance monitoring and course-correction, as necessary

  • Work across teams (Marketplace, CDOs, Product, Technology, Analytics, others), to drive problem solving and tracking of outcomes basis success metrics / deliverables

  • Communicating leaders with status updates and appropriate reporting on progress against targets and strategic direction

Key Skills Required:

  • Able to use data to influence senior leaders and defend his/her perspective. Ability to Influence and get buy-in from Leadership for driving initiatives

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, synthesize data and results, and drive toward insight and solutions

  • Very strong written, oral, communication and presentation skills required (including comfort with Excel and PowerPoint). Should be able to present facts, analysis, and conclusions or solutions in a way that demonstrates command of content

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 5-8 years of experience

  • Experience in influencing senior stakeholders, and/or driving strategy projects internally / for clients

  • Preference for MBA from Tier 1 institutes

  • Preference for e-commerce experience /product orgs also Supply Chain/ Service delivery environments
