Job Summary
Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop e-commerce websites using WordPress and Shopify
- Customize existing themes and plugins to fit the needs of the project
- Create custom themes and plugins from scratch using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ensure that all websites are optimized for speed and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress and e-commerce development
- Work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
- Provide technical support and maintenance for all e-commerce websites
- Manage website backups, updates, and security
- At least 3 years of experience in WordPress development and e-commerce website development
- Proven experience in developing custom themes and plugins for WordPress and Shopify
- Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify APIs and integration with third-party platforms
- Familiarity with Git version control and command-line tools
