Duties & Responsibilities:

As a wordpress developer your primary focus will be on designing and implementing the websites for the company using the WordPress creation tool. You are responsible for both frontend and backend development, including the implementation of themes and plugins. Your goal is to create attractive and user friendly websites with regular communication with staff and clients:

• Theming the approved website frontend design
• Creating the website architecture
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Generating wordpress themes and plugins.
• Should be aware of latest Plugins and their usage
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Monitoring the performance of the live website.
• Should be adaptable to new technologies
• Should be comfortable in working with agile methodology
• Should be strong in logical reasoning and finding the root cause of the issue
• Advanced PHP coding knowledge.
• Proven work experience as a wordPress developer
• Should be comfortable in designing and building REST API (formats - JSON, XML)
• Should have strong experience in wordpress woocommerce
• Should have understanding of search engine optimization
• Knowledge of frontend technologies including Bootstrap, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery
• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project knowledge of code versioning tools including Git and SVN
• Will be added advantage if experience on putty
• Experience working with debugging tools such as chrome inspector and firebug.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to project manage and decide on deliverables
• Should be flexible in working hours and supporting various countries
• Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
