Business Development Engineer - Uav Solutions Job in Flytbase Inc.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Handle inbound & outbound email inquires/follow-ups and conduct online demos.
• Understand customer requirements for autonomous drone solutions and propose relevant solutions that incorporate FlytBase Products (FlytWare & FlytNow), FlytBase technology (eg. FlytOS, FlytCloud, FlytAPIs) and offerings (eg. FlytDock, FlytCAS, FlytAI, etc.).
  
• Manage leads pipeline in CRM and take them to closure.
• Draft detailed techno-commercial solutions including solution architecture & deliverables, refine them in discussions with customers & technical team, and drive them to conversion into contracts.
• Ensure timely delivery of solutioning engagements, coordinate between customer & technical teams, help validate the critical components, participate in solution testing, take ownership for post-delivery support.
• Mine solution customers for additional use-cases and subscription revenue, compile customer testimonials, publish case studies.

• have an undergraduate degree in engineering/science and can demonstrate at-least 1 year of full-time experience in a drone-centric role,
• have full-time experience in the commercial drone industry, preferably working with customers across geographies and industry sectors,
• are available for a full-time role in Pune,
• can be effective in an extremely fast-paced environment,
• are able to work evenings and weekends to coordinate across time zones and meet deadlines,
• love to ensure customer success!

Good to have

• Demonstrated strong personal & professional interest in using drones including building aeromodels, flying drones, using open source drone software, participating in UAV events/competitions, experiments with various drone hardware, contributing to drone communities, etc.
• Experience in drone flight testing and operating/piloting small UAS and/or RC aircraft (both fixed-wing and multirotor systems) & using flight-planning and ground control station software.
