Consultant Sap Bo, Tableau Job in Fractal Analytics Inc

Role: Individual contributor.

Primary Skill set: Tableau Desktop, SAP Business objects Launch Pad, Sap Business Objects Web Intelligence, SAP Business Objects Information Design tool, SAP Business Objects CMC(Promotion Management Tool), SQL

Summary: Daily task will involve Below things;
1. Understand the business requirements/ questions to be answered
2. Work with client to align on KPIs and data sources to be used
3. Design and align on mock-ups
4. Develop the Tableau dashboard based on mock-ups finalized and perform UAT
5. Tableau Desktop implementation including live connections with databases like SAP, SQL, Hadoop, etc.
6. Model and Develop universe using Information Design Tool(IDT) from scratch or making enhancement in existing universe over OLTP schema.
7. Should know how to create cascading prompts, creating different types of joins, creating alias and context when required, creating different type of objects like dimension, measure and filter.
8. Developing reports using SAP Business Objects Web intelligence, should be aware of functionalities like dimension merge, context operators, cross tab reports, section, breaks, hyperlinks.
9. Should be very proficient in writing SQL queries.
10. Should have worked on report optimization at all levels report query, universe, database.
11. Should know how to take back up of reports and universe using CMC (PMT) and IDT.
12. Should be aware of SAP Business Object Web Intelligence and universe best practices.

14. Problem solving and good communication skills

Work Experience
1. 4 - 5 Years of experience in Tableau, SAP BO, SQL & Business consulting
2. Good Experience in Tableau and SAP BO Projects (involved in the complete lifecycle viz., requirement gathering, data modeling / scripting, developing and testing
3. Knowledge of data transformation tools like Hive, Spark will be an added advantage
4. Must have experience in CPG/FMCG domain
