Senior Engineer Snowflake

As a Senior Engineer, you will work on the Technology team that helps deliver our AI/ML and Analytics offerings at scale to our Fortune clients worldwide. The role is responsible for innovating, building and maintaining technology services.

?Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field with 3 to 5 years of technology experience, primarily in Data Engineering.
• Must have at least 2+ years of Snowflake experience and implemented at least 1-2 Snowflake projects into production.
• Strong Understanding of Snowflake cloud warehouse architecture.
• Develop Snowflake scripts and procedures using SnowSQL,Snowpipes and Snowflake utilities
• Good understanding of Snowflake advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features.
• Develop Data engineering pipelines to Push/Pull data from Snowflake into Data lake.
• Experience with using Python boto3 libraries to connect to Snowflake to transform data using Apache Spark or Python Pandas Libraries
• Strong Understanding of Datawarehouse (DWH) systems, and migration from DWH to data lakes/Snowflake
• Develop Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type -2) and Facts inside cloud warehouse.
• Good to have Certifications: SnowPRO in SNOWFLAKE, AWS/Azure/GCP Certified
• Good problem-solving skills and ready to learn new tech stack
• Willing to work on Proof of concepts and provide solution on the tech implementation
• Ability to work with a global team of consulting professionals across multiple projects
• Knack for helping an organization to understand application architectures and integration approaches, to architect advanced cloud-based solutions, and to help launch the build-out of those systems
• Passion for educating, training, designing, and building end-to-end systems for a diverse and challenging set of customers to success
