Job Summary

This is a remote position.

An Adobe Marketo Specialist creates and implements marketing automation solutions using Adobe Marketo's platform. They work closely with clients to understand their marketing needs and goals and use the Marketo platform to create targeted campaigns and track results. Some specific responsibilities for this role may include:

  • Configuring and maintaining the Adobe Marketo platform, including data integration and segmentation
  • Developing and executing email campaigns, including creating templates, scheduling sends, and analyzing results
  • Utilizing Marketo's lead scoring and lead nurturing capabilities to optimize campaign performance
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and product development, to ensure marketing efforts align with overall business objectives
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and new features in the Marketo platform and providing recommendations for improvements to clients.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of marketing automation and email marketing best practices and experience working with the Adobe Marketo platform. Proficiency in HTML and CSS for creating and editing email and landing page templates and experience with data analysis and reporting is also beneficial. Strong communication and collaboration skills are important, as this role involves working closely with clients and cross-functional teams.

Certifications such as the Adobe Certified Expert in Marketo Engage or Marketo Certified Expert are required.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Experience working with Adobe Marketo, including knowledge of marketing automation, lead scoring, and campaign management
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation best practices, including lead nurturing, segmentation, and A/B testing
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS for creating and editing email and landing page templates preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, as well as integrating Marketo with other third-party systems
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as sales and product development
  • Experience with other marketing automation platforms, such as Eloqua or HubSpot, may be beneficial.
  • Certifications such as the Adobe Certified Expert in Marketo Engage or Marketo Certified Expert are required

Candidates with project management skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or Jira are preferred.
