Java Developer Job in Freshmenu

Responsibilities

• Participate in architectural, design and product sessions
• Develop innovative solutions based on product requirements and business challenges in Java.
• Ensure all Java code is suitable for automated unit testing and own code coverage
• Interact with different stakeholders to gather feedback and clarification
• Research and apply new technologies and best practices
• Design and create efficient RESTful endpoints for both internal and public consumption
• Provide task estimations and deliver quality code on time
• Own and manage multiple data sources (MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic search)
• Participate in regular bug fixing Intimate knowledge of Git, Github, AWS, CDNs

Desired Skills

• Ideally 3 yrs - 6 years of Java experience.
• 3yrs - 6 yrs+ years professional experience with enterprise architecture and developing highly scalable websites/services.
• Proficiency administering large databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Mongo DB).
• Experience with creating RESTful endpoints.
• Working understanding of OOP Javascript and modular design patterns.
• Hands-on experience developing, releasing, and maintaining large-scale software applications (web/mobile).
• Should be comfortable in using Git, Git branches and Github to manage codebases.
• A very high degree of focus on the Customer
• High level conceptual thinking about product and user problems
• The ability to articulate and defend design choices using research / data
• A solid understanding of prevailing trends in UX
• Proficiency with Design tools, and an obsession with pixel-perfect detailing
