Job Description

Strong Linux fundamentals

Handson experience in AWS cloud administration - Setting up AWS infrastructure and administering AWS features like EC2, ECS, RDS, Route 53, VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, IGW, NAT Gateway, ALB, DNS, CDN, IAM, AMI. Should know how to setup IAM security policies and can administer AWS managed services like SQS, S3, RDS etc

Hands on experience in working with kubernetes and docker - doing production deployment and also ability to troubleshoot an issue in a running production environment

Strong CI/CD experience, static code analysis, code quality and setting up developer pipelines and branching strategies - Preferably Jenkins and SonarQube

Hands on experience in working with observability stack - Preferably ELK, Prometheus, Grafana and any distributed tracing

Identifies repetitive system tasks and automates. Create sustainable systems and services through automation - Preferable scripting language ( Bash, Python etc )

Experience in production performance incident analysis and drive issue resolution

Hands on experience in APM , profiler and load testing tools

Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning

Participate in initiatives to define and implement DevOps solutions which includes reference architectures, effort estimates, and costing

Good to have - Ability to automate infrastructure setup using Terraform / Cloud

Qualifications

4-7 years of experience in devops, design and development

Currently should be playing the role of senior Dev ops engineer handling the requirement of a mid sized team and projects

Experience in working with AWZ in production environment

Passionate about performance, reliability, scalability and resilience

Experience with setting up the CI/CD pipeline for a mid sized team
