Textile Designer Job in Furlenco

Furlenco is looking for an experienced Textile designer who can create inspiring soft furnishing and upholstery textiles for our customers. Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and launch theme based furnishing and decor solutions complimenting Furlenco range of furniture

Understand the properties of different materials, weaves and dyes and the production processes of upholstery textiles

Deliver design solutions with aesthetic detailing and attention to form, patterns, structure, prints and colour

Design, sample, develop and work with the sourcing team and vendors for final production

Keeping up to date with new fashion and trends, and design and production techniques

Act as an active contributor to brainstorming discussions

Must have ability to ideate and refer to relevant design touch-points

Smooth cross functional communication to achieve deliverables within timeline Qualification and experience

4+ years of experience in the domain

Graduates from NID/NIFT or equivalent design college preferred

Technical know-how along with hands on drawing/ sketching skills

Advanced software skills of Adobe Creative Suite and Wacom Intuos

Strong sense of typography, imagery, colours, composition and visual layouts
