Job Summary
  • Define, develop, negotiate, and contract strategic sourcing solutions that meet businesses requirements and enhance profitability by controlling or reducing costs, improving payment terms, reducing inventory, and optimizing supply chain efficiencies.
  • Perform and analysis Monthly forecasting report to ensure and maintain acceptable inventory level.
  • Develop a sourcing plan for both for local and international sources, so that fast and effectively sourcing operations are possible.
  • Good understanding on Electrical/Electronic components, applications & types. Need to manage Component Engineering activities independently
  • Monitor, identify and resolve all lifecycle issues and assist various teams to identify appropriate resources and substitutes for components.
  • Cost reduction ideas with Cross Functional team and drive productivity.
  • Manage all communication with manufacturers and distributors on all supply components and evaluate all results effectively.
  • Own sourcing specific ERPs, processes and tools. Review and improve processes. Work on special initiatives.
  • You will own and conclude the appropriate legal procurement agreements.
  • You will provide periodic reporting for management on procurement activities and savings.
  • You will place purchase orders with suppliers and act as the owner of the entire process.
  • You will conduct business review meetings to review future strategies, and identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Strong business judgement, instincts, and organizational skills.
  • Experience collecting data, reporting against key performance metrics and driving root cause analysis.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to overcome obstacles and deliver results
  • Develop mechanisms and metrics to track supplier performance related to delivery, quality, and cost.
  • Innovate within the procurement space, improving tools or processes to better support the Procurement Lifecycle.
  • Closely work with Cross-functional teams like Operations, Finance, Accounts and Engineering.
  • Work with accounting team to drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial-book close process for the category.
  • Facilitate weekly/ monthly/ quarterly reviews with data analysis and follow through with category leader on actionable items for improving business metrics over a period of time
