Job Summary
We are looking for a methodical Market Research Analyst to survey customer preferences, challenges, and industry & technology trends in order to fine tune our service offerings, marketing content leading to a refined lead generation process. This will enable us to clearly articulate our value proposition from our services offerings to our prospects. The successful market researcher will be able to analyze autonomously qualitative data, trends, strategies and competition aimed at increasing our competitive edge.
Key Responsibility
- Study and analyse our existing clients to identify common attributes leading to defining our ideal customer profile.
- Define our Ideal customer Profile (ICP) ICP are prospects who are experiencing pain that Gadgeon can solve, who are ready, willing, and able to buy our product or service.
- Understand our target audience - understand the whole marketplace and then zero in on an ideal customer profile to pursue.
- Evaluate the market conditions and trends that bring changes from outside to our target companies.
- With the understanding of larger target audience and the primary target in the form of ICP, dig deep into the psychographic and personality traits attitudes, beliefs, values, etc. of our customers personas.
- Create a list of industry publications not only helps to better know our customers, but it also allows us to develop a comprehensive content strategy.
- Identify industry experts as thought leaders - by reviewing industry publications and also identify who is driving the prevailing industry view and who attracts the most respect and share of voice in the community.
- Understand business objectives by designing relevant surveys to discover prospective customers preferences.
- Perform valid and reliable market research SWT analysis
- Provide competitive analysis on various companies market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
Skills and Qualification
- Proven Market Research Analysis experience towards defining go-to-market strategies
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office
- Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
- Familiarity with CRM (Zoho) programs
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)
- Understanding and familiarity with concepts like ideal customer profiling (ICP) and Account Based marketing (ABM).
- Proven analytical and critical thinking capabilities
- Bachelors degree in Statistics, Marketing or related field
