Job Summary
- Ensuring the security of client s application landscape by designing, evaluating,testing (SAST/DAST), improving and monitoring controls using industry frameworksand standards.
- Collaborate with Product Development (and other IT teams), to ensure that newand existing applications meet appropriate security requirements and standards.
- Ensure technical security compliance requirements for ISO27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR,and other Federal, State, and international regulations.
- Assist with risk analysis and threat modeling exercises and provide actionablerequirements based on outcome.
- Create and maintain Information Security documentation (like policies, procedures,technical baselines etc.) and report on the security of applications deployedthroughout the organization.
- Assist with the configuration and management of security tools includingSAST/DAST scanners, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, DDoS protection, Webapp Firewalls, and anti-spam/anti-malware platforms.
- Actively engage in internal penetration testing and security assessments of anykind.
- Be able to provide training (in person, web based) to Product Developers andLeaders in the area of Application Security.
- Research and report on security risks and advise team leaders on the impact onsecurity compliance prior to implementation.
- Provides security related support activities to KORE customers and employees.
- Stay abreast of current and emerging security threats and advise on securitytechnologies to mitigate threats where possible.
- Maintain adequate compliance documentation presentable for external andinternal audits
