Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary: The Software Manager is accountable for the Software Development, his main responsibility is to develop the team, assure delivery of the projects/work packages with the expected quality standards and planned schedule. Key Responsibilities: 2.1. People Management The Software Manager is accountable for the Software Development, his main responsibility is to develop the team, assure delivery of the projects/work packages with the expected quality standards and planned schedule. 2.2. Software development Participates in establishing project objectives, timelines, milestones and budgets. Plan & track the progress of tasks for the team members in coordination with the project Help solve impediments and foster improvements Ensure delivery of the work packages in time and with the expected quality Maintain close interaction with the stakeholders for the team s projects Involvement in case of escalation/Taskforces/high prio topics Participate in strategy definition on global Software organization level. 2.3. Standardization Establish standardized development procedures and engineering practices for ensuring consistency and process adherence across all electrification programs. 2.4. Administrative Ensure the necessary equipment for the team members; Involvement in various improvement programs in the location/discipline; Reporting hours and tracking the projects budget; Maintain inventory for the team s equipment; Support in organizing the Business Trips, workshops, etc. Education: '- Master degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Experience: 10+ years automotive software development work experience in Multiple National Companies 5+ years people management experiences. Key Skills: Strong knowledge in software construction including AUTOSAR architecture across different product platforms. Significant experience in coordinating teams in automotive software projects Knowledge of functional safety & cybersecurity would be a plus. Demonstrated bias for action/initiative, customer focus, and a strong capability to lead in a team environment. Proven problem solving skills, including ability to interpret data, define actions, and implement solutions Ability to coach and mentor team members. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
